What should I do before handing items over?

Before collection or drop-off, please:

  • Check all pockets (we’re not responsible for items left inside)
  • Ensure items are safe to tumble dry, unless you tell us otherwise
  • Let us know about any detergent allergies on the booking form

This helps avoid damage and ensures the best results.

Can you guarantee all stains will be removed?

No—while we use professional cleaning and stain removal methods, not all stains can be fully removed.

Some stains (like bleach marks, dye transfer, or older stains) may be permanent. We’ll always do our best, but results can’t be guaranteed.

What size loads do you accept for washing and drying?

Our standard load size is up to 8kg.

  • Wash, dry & fold (up to 8kg): £21.00
  • Additional weight is charged per kg
  • Separate wash or dry services are also available

If you’re unsure on weight, just book and we’ll confirm on collection 👍

What happens if something is lost, damaged, or not collected?

  • Any issues must be reported within 48 hours of receiving your items
  • Compensation (if applicable) is based on current value, age, and depreciation—not original price
  • Items left unclaimed for 30 days may be disposed of or donated
  • We are not responsible for items once delivered to the agreed location

How does your collection and delivery service work?

If you book before 10am and are within 8 miles of Lerwick, we’ll collect before 11am and return your items by 6pm the same day.

Bookings made after 10am will be collected the following morning and returned the same day.

Collection and delivery is free within 8 miles of Lerwick. Beyond this, there is a charge of £2.90 per mile.
